I recently played with an ipod touch in an apple store and fell inlove with it. I would love to buy one for myself but I have terrible luck with electronics - any major purchases I buy quickly get updated or obsolete. The last time was when I saved for months and finally bought a 4GB ipod mini - and practically two months later the nano comes out. So I just don’t want to shell out a couple hundred just to see something cooler come out in a few more months. I currently only have about 2 GB of music. I was wondering if I should get the 8 or 16?
Also, with the movies, games, and apps, does it come with stuff or is it each piece sold separately? How much are movies? And games? Can I upload my dvds onto the ipod or do I have to buy them? Also I’ve read about jailbreaking to get free apps, is that illegal? I don’t want to take any chances, because with my luck I know I would get caught for doing something like that.
Where do I find the best deal on these things? My husband is an ebay aficionado but I’ve gotten hosed on electronics there before. I remember seeing a lot of things around Christmas where you got a free itunes card when you bought an ipod, do those deals exist anymore?
